Artık, Intellenglish hem Türkçe hem İngilizce olacak…
(Türkçe için, buraya tıklayın: Türkçe)
Hey Everybody,
Guess what?
Today, I decided to make Intellenglish.com bilingual.
That’s right. From this day forward, our site will be in both Turkish and English.
This makes sense for a lot of reasons. First and foremost, I love writing for this blog – and sometimes, I feel a bit limited by publishing in only one language.
Usually, I write in English and then Hande, my wife and business partner, translates my blog posts into Turkish. I then check the Turkish version, and we publish it to the website – a rather lengthy process.
By switching to an English-Turkish – Türkçe-İngilizce format, we’ll be able to put new articles, lessons and other materials up on the website much faster.
This will be great for you because there will be a continuous stream of fresh content on this website. You can check back every day – or subscribe to our RSS feed and get new materials all the time.
In addition, the new articles and lessons in English are going to give you even more opportunities to practice and improve your English.
At the beginning, we wanted to make sure that this site was accessible to everyone – so we published everything in Turkish – so that, even if you were starting from zero English, you would still be able to read the articles and take advantage of the benefits.
Now, you’re still going to be able to read the articles in Turkish – but, we’re also going to be creating English versions of everything!
So, you can read the article first in Turkish, then in English (or in English first if you want), and you’ll be able to learn some new words and phrases every day.
Last, but not least, changing Intellenglish.com to a Turkish-English blog will enrich the quality of communication we are able to achieve with you, our readers.
Hande is an expert translator, but sometimes, there are words and phrases that don’t translate well from one language to another. So, if we publish our articles and lessons in both Turkish and English, we’ll be able to say more than if we only used one language or the other.
So, from now on, Hande and I will both be writing for the blog – and translating as we go. We have a lot of old articles to translate and update – so please be patient. In the end, we’ll have everything available in both English and Turkish.
We hope you enjoy it.
If you have any questions or comments for us, please don’t hesitate to ask.
To your success in learning and improving your English,
Ian
